Citadel Security Headquarters, known colloquially as C-Sec Headquarters, C-Sec HQ, sometimes abbreviated as CSECHQ, and later renamed Citadel Police Headquarters, was the central command and headquarters of Citadel Security located on the Presidium. The structure was built in 573 BCE in the same year C-Sec was established, beginning as a small structure as deemed appropriate for the size of a volunteer organization. In 382 BCE, C-Sec was restructured from being a volunteer organization into a professional law enforcement agency, and with this change, C-Sec Headquarters was expanded and renovated with modern facilities, and expanded once again in 299 BCE when it was merged into the Citadel Defense Forces as a third branch. By 2100 CE, C-Sec Headquarters was the largest C-Sec facility on the Citadel, and the epicenter of all its operations, housing the Executor himself and most of the organization's top command staff. By 2150 CE, it was the largest single building on the Presidium alone.

C-Sec Headquarters was the primary objective for capture by Cerberus forces in 2186 CE during the Citadel Siege. The headquarters fell into Cerberus hands early on in the invasion, severely hampering C-Sec tactical and strategic efforts, allowing Cerberus troops to perform 'divide and conquer' actions to split C-Sec response units and wittle them down. The building would be retaken by the Normandy Squad however, and following the failed siege, C-Sec would heavily reinforce the building against further attack: despite this, it was thoroughly abandoned in favor of seeking shelter when the Reapers captured the Citadel towards the end of the Reaper War. At the end of the Post-Apocalyptic War, C-Sec Headquarters would be renamed to Citadel Police Headquarters as per the dissolution of C-Sec. The headquarters building would suffer heavy damage during the Battle of the Citadel-Ark in 2253 CE, and was finally destroyed with the rest of the Citadel shortly thereafter.
