"What I did was for the good of the people. Yes, I worked for Prometheus. Yes, I was their puppet. But thanks to me, I kept the peace. I can live with treason so long as I remember that I saved lives."
Tax'Dor to his drumhead jury.

Superintendent Tax'Dor pav Rannoch (formerly Tax'Herul nar Xaetalir) was the superintendent of the El'Tivv electoral division of Rannoch from 2248 CE to 2253 CE. Born on the Migrant Fleet, Tax'Herul was a member of Clan Herul, which was considered a "fepsal'dekl'ax clan", which meant that the clan was disreputable, and considered a waste of resources. After the Reaper War ended and he returned to Rannoch, he petitioned to have his clan name changed, and he founded Clan Dor, hoping to start fresh and escape the stigma of his former clan. He became prominent in quarian politics at the time, and his economic policies and populist attitude quickly rose him up the ranks during the Rannochian insurgency, eventually leading to his victory in the Superintendent election in El'Tivv. At some point, he was approached by Prometheus and offered their intelligence services in return for helping insert their agents in key sectors of El'Tivv's industry, and used his political pull to get a few agents into the Senate itself. These actions would later be exposed by the Shadow Broker towards the beginning of the Dominion Civil War, and when the city of El'Tivv fell to the RSF division of the DDF, he was captured and put on trial in the RSF capital city of Tonbay, along with numerous other captured quarians who fought for the Dominion loyalists. He was found guilty of treason in a drumhead trial and sentenced to death, but Tax'Dor committed suicide by bashing his head against his cell wall before he could be executed.
