The Polaris amp, also simply known as the Polaris, was a biotic amp model manufactured by Kassa Fabrication. Manufactured and entering service in 2168 CE, the Polaris amp was a high-end military grade biotic amp meant for use by the Alliance military's biotic shock troops and special operators, and later also used by the biotics of the Cerberus Commandos as well. A very powerful amp, the Polaris had strong stamina enhancements balanced with high power output, maximizing the amount of time a user could use their biotics before growing tired and worn out, whilst also increasing the sheer power they could bring to bear. Equipped by some of the best biotic troops in the Alliance military, and utilized in conjunction with the L3 upgrades, the Polaris amp also found its way into service with Cerberus, who also equipped their own biotic military personnel with the amp. The Polaris amp was fully discontinued in 2219 CE, replaced with Kassa's improved Fusion amp, which only amplified the Polaris' already powerful stats.
