"Commander, the people have questions!"
— Khalisah Al-Jilani

Khalisah Bint-Sinan Al-Jilani, sometimes shortened to Khalisah Al-Jilani or simply called Khalisah, was a reporter for the Westerlund News corporation. Born on Earth, Khalisah was raised in Kurdistan and bore witness to the many atrocities that occurred during the European Union's attempted annexation of the country. The First Contact War began on her birthday, and she quickly adopted an anti-turian, and later simply pro-human, view on the galaxy, which led to her become a reporter for Westerlund News. She used this to try and push political agenda, especially in regards to the perported "waste" of human life at the Battle of the Citadel, as well as the Council's inaction when Earth fell to the Reapers several years later. However, for much of the Reaper War, she had changed her initial views to adopt a more morale-based form of reporting, deciding to use a new journalist tactic known as the "Incorruptible Theory", which is designed to offer only the positive effects of an event, no matter how negative it might actually be in reality; she first used this theory when reporting on the Palaven campaign, which improved turian morale by 10 percent, and even led many turians who hadn't been hit by the war at that point to believe they were actually winning. This theory spread throughout Westerlund News, and was eventually adopted as an official wartime reporting plan by the Galactic Coalition of Journalism. Following the war, Khalisah quit Westerlund News shortly before its dissolution, and instead joined Exodus News, which operated out of Tiara, Terra Nova. She was killed like the rest of Tiara when the BSDF detonated a nuclear device over the city, destroying it.
