- "Thank the Maker! I thought I'd never see a living human face again! Well, there's Manuel, but...but he isn't all there."
- — Dr. Warren
Professor Rebecca Warren was an archaeologist in the Systems Alliance, and later, the Systems Coalition Science Corps. Passing through the Alliance Academy of Science as an ace student, Dr. Warren decided her interest in the field of prothean archaeology conquered all her other interests, and elected to join the Alliance's Science Corps. Her friend and work colleague, Dr. Manuel, joined her in this endeavour, and they both joined the Science Corps. Her work saw her interact with numerous professors from different species, specifically asari. Nearly a decade after she signed up, she was enlisted by the SIA into a classified mission to Eden Prime, where she was told that she would be working with an unearthed prothean beacon. She insisted Manuel be included, and after some measures, the SIA accepted this. Excited to work with brand-new, intact prothean tech, Dr. Warren immediately signed up, and Manuel eagerly followed. She managed to survive the Battle of Eden Prime, but Dr. Manuel did not follow her into the Science Corps, as he was dishonorably discharged from the Alliance and placed under a psychological corrections program. Since then, Dr. Warren continued to work in the Science Corps, aiding with UGC relief operations in the Reaper War. Afterwards, she retired, and died peacefully of old age on Eden Prime in 2239 CE.
