Zeus Aluticus is a cluster located on the far most northeastern edge of Council space, close to the Attican Traverse. While the cluster may have once been teeming with planetary masses and was potentially even colonized at one stage, by the asari cycle, the cluster is a lifeless shell, with only one solar system with five planets, four of which have lost their atmospheres and the last one having been consumed by its ever expanding sun. While the cluster fell within the territory of the Salarian Union, and thus was a part of Council space, it was never colonized for this very reason, especially once it was discovered Hermes would collapse into a black hole in three thouand years. Despite this, the cluster was used frequently by the Migrant Fleet as a safe haven, especially as it was the only Council cluster that they were allowed to inhabit for an extended period without being evicted. It was also used by the salarians during the Reaper War, and again during the Post-Apocalyptic War, to conduct military strikes, using the high amounts of radiation permeating the system's few planetoids to mask their presence from sensors.

In 3000 CE, Hermes collapsed into a black hole as predicted, consuming the remaining planets in Zeus Aluticus. With Hermes' destruction, Zeus Aluticus has no other solar systems aside from the Bosporus system.
