"He's just an uptight asshole, I don't really care what he thinks. I'm just looking forward to pulling his skull and watching his eyes go blank as I slowly, deliberately, painfully tear his spine from his body. Then he'll recognize that I don't fuck around."
— Weyrloc Garm to who he thinks is a freelancer about his intentions for Archangel during the Kima Siege.

Commander Weyrloc Garm was a member of Clan Weyrloc, a warrior serving the Tuchankan Traditionalists, and a powerful Blood Pack mercenary who lead the Omega chapter of the PMC from 2168 CE to 2185 CE. Born on Tuchanka in 1493 CE, Weyrloc Garm was one of many sons of Weyrloc Trikar, a cruel but powerful warlord who was then the current chieftain of Clan Weyrloc, and groomed his three sons for leadership over their clan, intending that they would fight each other to obtain the mantle when the time came. Garm had little to no interest in the chieftainship however, having an insatiable thirst for blood and glory, insisting on being involved in every major battle the Weyrloc fought. A heavy hitter for the Traditionalists, Garm would go on to fight in Kitack's War, the Eighth Trisek'lok War and the Campaigns of Pod Thresh-Wrestler, earning renown across his clan and throughout the Traditionalists for his brutality in battle. Garm's two brothers, Weyrloc Gur and Weyrloc Wuzk, became jealous of their brother's infamy and feared their father would favor him due to their relative obscurity by comparison, so they both agreed to join forces temporarily to remove Garm as a threat to both of them, although both planned to betray each other at some point as they knew of their father's plans for only one successor. Garm however suspected his brother's jealously and decided to strike first, catching them offguard: enlisting the assistance of the Gutslingers' legion that had been hired by Trikar, Garm simultaneously struck at both Gur and Wuzk, personally leading forces against his elder brother, Wuzk. Known as Garm's coup, the pre-emptive strike was a failure, with Garm successfully killing Wuzk, but Gur surviving his attackers and managing to escape to lied to his father that Garm planned to target him next: instead of killing Garm however, Trikar chose to exile his son, as he did in fact favor Garm and viewed him as the strongest of his sons, and did not want to be responsible for killing the most powerful of his brood. Trikar's decision was made easier by Garm's decision to join the Blood Pack, as he knew he'd find more blood and glory fighting as a mercenary than he would as chieftain, which is all that awaited him in Clan Weyrloc: before Trikar could even meet with Garm, the krogan announced his departure and left, taking a fraction of the Blood Pack forces loyal to him as he left the planet to become a fully fledged mercenary. Not long after, Garm became an official employee of the Blood Pack, assigned to the Vaul's Banished legion under the command of Cheksor Stregor in 1613 CE.

For the next 150 years, Garm would continue to serve in the Vaul's Banished and fight in numerous battles the PMC was involved in, as well as performing bodyguard work, leading pirate raids and running slave grabs. In 1767 CE, Garm was the only survivor of the Vaul's Banished when it was hired to fight for the Viantel Nationalist Alliance alongside the Dukes of Sunder and Emerald Army against the Narhu Combine supported by the Eclipse, Luna Knights, Dread Battalion, The Fury and Winged Chevaliers in the first phase of the Ismar War. With the Vaul's Banished effectively wiped out, Garm was reassigned to the Sciotic Reapers legion, which he would remain with right up until 1930 CE, when he was finally assigned to the Omega chapter of the Blood Pack under the command of Nul Gesark. During his time in the Sciotic Reapers, Garm would begin using experimental performance-enhancing drugs to make him deadlier in combat, and as a side effect of taking both Sermiac-670 and Makrotosin composite, he developed heightened regenerative abilities, allowing him to regenerate injuries three times as fast as a normal krogan, almost as quickly as a vorcha, making him capable of withstanding injuries that would kill other krogan outright. Garm would continue to fight in a series of mecernary and turf wars across Omega and the Terminus Systems for the Blood Pack, and remained loyal to Gesark. In 2168 CE, Gesark took several squads of Blood Pack troops on a pirate raid near the Sahrabarik system relay, attempting to board and loot a human cargo freighter: unfortunately for Gesark, the infamous bounty hunter Zaeed Massani was hitchhiking on the freighter at the time, and challenged Gesark to a one-on-one duel. Underestimating his opponent, Gesark was kneecapped within moments of the fight and Zaeed slaughtered his men, proceeding to kill Gesark and keep his helmet as a trophy to remind him of that "pained expression", and after Gesark and his men's bodies were flushed out an airlock, the freighter continued on its way. With Gesark dead, Garm assumed leadership over the Omega chapter and, under his command, Blood Pack territory and influence on Omega would expand immensely, fighting and winning several turf wars with the Blue Suns until eventually agreeing to a ceasefire with Krefin Tarak in 2175 CE. For eight years, Garm continued to run the Blood Pack on Omega without incident, conducting successful raids across the system and holding onto his territory with a firm, iron grip. It wasn't until 2183 CE with the arrival of Archangel that Garm's complacency was shook up, with Archangel assembling a team of vigilantes who proceeded to wage war on crime across the station, with Garm and his Blood Pack firmly among their array of targets. The Blood Pack was among the hardest hit during this nearly two year conflict, with many of his facilities and business hit hard, the other PMCs taking advantage of his damaged war machine to sweep up territory of their own, only to suffer losses of their own when Archangel targeted them as well.

Finally, in July 2185 CE, after suffering defeat after defeat at Archangel's hands, Garm snapped when Archangel's team conducted a bombing on his headquarters in the Daphor District, and led some 300 vorcha and 10 krogan warriors in pursuing Archangel's retreating forces, hoping to finally kill his adversary who he viewed as nothing more than a pest. Unaware he was walking into an ambush, Garm charged full speed ahead into an amusement park where Archangel's team sprung their trap, killing most of Garm's forces in a short space of time, leaving Garm isolated and reinforcements too far away to help. Pumped up on drugs however, Garm's regenerative abilities kicked into overdrive, and despite their best efforts, Archangel's team were simply unable to pin down and finish off Garm, moving from cover to cover and regenerating impossibly fast, holding out for two hours under the team's withering assault until, finally, his reinforcements arrived to rescue him. Finally locating Archangel himself, Garm pursued him up a skyscraper and chased him through city streets in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse, only for Archangel to finally evade him after three hours of hot pursuit. Enraged by the ambush, fed up with his inability to kill Archangel and wanting an end to the disruption of his revenue, Garm began considering a new direction for dealing with Archangel, which was well-timed with the assassination attempt on Krefin Tarak, leader of the Blue Suns' Omega chapter, just outside his home. Tarak reached out to Garm suggesting an alliance and, without consulting the CEO of the Blood Pack, agreed to join forces with the Blue Suns, forming the Kima Alliance, with Garm as one of its leaders. After Eclipse joined the alliance shortly after, Garm agreed to Tarak's plan to capture a member of Archangel's member to torture for information, but insisted he personally take part in the assault, wanting to make Archangel suffer: it was ultimately Garm's idea to leave one of Archangel's team alive after the massacre in order to break him mentally, making his death sweeter. Tarak didn't trust Garm due to his obsession with vengeance and making Archangel suffer, but saw him as a necessary ally, and thus tolerated Garm's impulses. Garm would personally lead the Blood Pack forces during the raid on Archangel's HQ, killing Fal Erash and Grundan Krul (a warrior formerly under his command) in the process. Once Archangel arrived back at the HQ and the mercenary alliance sealed him in, Garm took point on the initial assault to finally finish off the vigilante: despite this, Archangel held out better than the mercs expected, and they suffered significant losses during the assault, forcing them to pull back and bunker down for a siege, reconsidering their plan of attack. Garm, who didn't want to retreat, was angered by Tarak's order to retreat and almost ignored it, but heeded it at the last minute. As the siege continued for a week and a half, Garm's patience wore thin, sick of just sitting around while the freelancers, hired by Tarak to pad out their depleting pool of manpower, were used to slowly wear out and exhaust Archangel and waste his remaining ammunition. Tarak knew of Garm's impatience and knew that the Kima Alliance was a powder keg waiting to detonate, with Garm's impatience and lust for blood conflicting with Tarak's caution, paranoia and focus on strategic efficiency. Garm's impatience was only somewhat validated as while the siege was taking place, right under his nose, a large amount of the vorcha reserves he had holding down Blood Pack territory had gone rogue and spread a plague in the Gozu District in a bid to take over. Time was running out as far as Garm was concerned, wanting to finish his business with Archangel so he could rein in his traitorous vorcha deserters.

After a week and a half of siege, Tarak was finally ready to put his plan into motion, with Garm's Blood Pack using tunnels underneath the base to infiltrate it from behind in conjunction with a simultaneous frontal assault by the freelancers, followed by the Eclipse and the Blue Suns, supported by Tarak in his gunship. When Tarak realized the frontal assault had failed due to traitors within its ranks, he ordered Garm to withdraw but the krogan was fed up with Tarak's strategies and ignored the order. After an Eclipse assault was beat back with devastating casualties, Garm and his Blood Pack attacked from below, attacking from multiple directions with smaller forces so his main force, led by him personally, could sneak up to Archangel while the Normandy Squad was distracted. Instead, Garm's forces were beaten back and whilst Garm and his men were in the process of moving on Archangel, the Normandy Squad arrived from behind and boxed in Garm. With his men dead and Garm surrounded, he became enraged and took his drugs once more, hoping to end Archangel once and for all. Archangel had learned his lesson from last time however and, using incendiary ammunition and Krul's flamethrower, combined with the Normandy Squad's firepower, was quickly able to dispatch Garm, lighting him on fire and burning him alive as they emptied entire clips into the krogan, Archangel finally killing him with a point blank sniper round through the skull, taking no chances.
