"No, I won't...I won't shut up any longer! Tali'Zorah is a hero, not a traitor! If you want to exile her, you'll just have to exile me too!"
— Veetor'Nara at Tali's trial of 2185 CE.

Attorney Veetor'Nara pav Jaese'Wufor (formerly known as Veetor'Nara nar Rayya and Veetor'Nara vas Rayya) was a technician on the QMFV Rayya during the Quarian Exodus, and following the Reaper War, a lawyer working on the colony of Jaese'Wufor. Born on the liveship Rayya in 2162 CE, Veetor encountered difficulty very early on in his life, suffering from neurosis and a strong sense of agoraphobia, both of which compounded upon each other to create a very nervous quarian who had trouble developing social skills because of his intense fear of public places and interactions. Veetor lost himself in his affinity for technology, his entire world becoming wrapped up in computers and omni-tools, developing few friends as a result of his social anxiety and isolation. As he got older, Veetor tried addressing his condition by going out more, and slowly but surely, his condition was eased, although he still remained nervous in crowds. Beginning his pilgrimage on February 2185 CE, Veetor chose early on to spend it on the colony of Freedom's Progress, wanting to help the colony as their technician and engineer: the human colonists welcomed him, and he quickly developed his own office from which to work, with many of the colonists entrusting him with their technological needs, and he eventually even assumed the task of repairing and maintaining the colony's security mechs. Veetor was present on the colony in early August when the Collectors attacked the colony, looking to abduct all the humans in Little Rock. Veetor, driven by fear and quickly regressing back into his heightened state of anxiety, activated the security mechs to protect himself and locked his office, where he hid: only interested in abducting humans and having already wiped the colony's surveillance footage of them, the Collectors left Veetor alone, and left once they had all the colonists onboard. However, they had underestimated the quarian, who had managed to save all surveillance footage to a local drive before they wiped it from the mainframe, an action which ultimately expose the Collector involvement in the abductions when the Normandy Squad, with aid from a Migrant Fleet squad looking to extract Veetor, came to investigate.

Veetor returned to the Fleet with Tali'Zorah with his pilgrimage suspended until further notice: however, with the help of Tali, he was able to have his pilgrimage labelled as completed, bringing back the CPUs of numerous destroyed security mechs from the colony as his pilgrimage gift. Due to the trauma suffered from the attack, Veetor was assigned a doctor, Elan'Shiya, to watch over him and help him recover, and during this time, Veetor became attached to his doctor, with Veetor slowly recovering. When Tali'Zorah was accused of treason a month later, Veetor wanted to be present at the trial, with Elan'Shiya attending: inspired by Commander Shepard's defense of Tali, Tali's reassurance that Veetor's survival on Freedom's Progress was more than just chance, and a wish to impress his doctor who he had developed a crush for, Veetor broke his barriers and stood up in front of the trial, providing verbal testimony in support of Tali among several other quarians who knew her. Not long after the trial, Veetor began taking more and more risks socially, and even asked out his doctor, who accepted. By the time of the Second Morning War, he was in a serious relationship with Elan, and was formerly accepted into the crew of the Rayya. After the Reaper War had concluded, Veetor and Elan married, and later moved to the re-established and nascent quarian colony on Jaese'Wufor, where they became permanent residents and Veetor pursued a career in law, ultimately setting up his own solo practice on the colony. He continued practicing law right up until 2254 CE where he retired. He fell into a deep depression after his wife died of natural causes in 2273 CE, and only a few years later, he would join her in 2276 CE.
