The Unity amp, also simply known as the Unity, was a biotic amp model manufactured by Sirta Foundation. Manufactured and entering service in 2170 CE, the Unity amp was a mid-range and affordable biotic amp meant for use by the larger public. Featuring basic stats across the board, the Unity amp was cheaper than the Solaris amp made by Aldrin Labs, making it easier to obtain for human biotics, but with the limitations of not being modular, weakening its ability to be upgraded and improved. The Unity amp demonstrated the poor and subpar biotic amp crafting capabilities of Sirta Foundation, and was largely an experiment by Sirta to see if they could tap into the biotic amp crafting market. Whilst sales of the Unity amp were high in the Terminus Systems, Sirta was ultimately unsatisfied with the Unity's performance and discontinued the amp's manufacture in 2185 CE, although it continued to offer support to users of the amp, as well as offered a free surgery for the month following the amp's discontinuation to have the amp removed.
