The Terminator assault rifle was a fully automatic heat sink-based block-fed assault rifle manufactured by Batarian State Arms. Manufactured and entering service in 1650 CE, the Terminator assault rifle was designed for exclusive use as the Hegemony Armed Forces standard issue service rifle, possessing a fully automatic rate of fire and good heat mitigation, but very poor accuracy. While some Terminator rifles would leak out into rest of the galaxy through black market deals, they were rare, with Batarian State Arms manufacturing weapons intended only to be used by the Hegemony military and Feksogar. The weapon had a consistent rate of fire, decent recoil mitigation and high quality heat dispersion systems: however, its accuracy was horrendous, with bullet spread so high that firing the weapon fully automatic was unlikely to hit a target any further away than 10 meters. The design was derivative of what would ultimately become the design for the M-15 Vindicator following the introduction of the thermal clip in 2184 CE, which replaced block-fed weapons wholesale across the entire galaxy following the Battle of the Citadel. The AT-10 Ravager is the Hegemony's direct successor to the Terminator, standard issue amongst all Hegemony military forces and used by Feksogar death squads.
