"My name's Salkie. I'm the guy in charge of keeping these men and women well equipped, and making sure their bellies are full enough to see tomorrow."
— Salkie describing his position to an inquisitive and undercover Commander Shepard.

Lieutenant Salkie Par'beb (born: Salkie Kragdeba) was a Blue Suns logistics officer, serving in its Omega chapter, and a former civilian who lived in the Doru District on Omega. Born on Omega, Salkie's parents initially attempted to sell him to a band of slavers when he was 8 as they could no longer afford to feed him: Salkie however found out and fled his home the night before, running off into the streets: he would later be found by his uncle, a CyclOps mercenary, who instead of taking him back to his parents, cut all ties with his brother (Salkie's father) and decided to raise Salkie himself. As a result, Salkie grew up looking up to his adoptive father, taking his last name "Par'beb" as his own. When Salkie was 20 years old, he chose to join the local Blue Suns chapter, initially starting as a basic infantryman before making his way up to become a supply and logistics officer for the chapter, handling the Omega chapter's supply chain and in charge of keeping its men and women well equipped and fed. Salkie took his job very seriously, and during his tenure as a logistics officer for the Omega chapter, his work was noticed as high up the command chain as Commander Krefin Tarak, eclipsing many of those who had come before him and making the Omega chapter of the Blue Suns one of the best supplied PMCs on the station at the time. When his uncle died in 2178 CE during a skirmish between CyclOps and the Ghosts of Marcenion on Korlus, Salkie was devastated, but it also drove him to find his parents in an attempt to reconcile with them: while only his mother was still alive (his father had gambled with the Talons and failed to pay them back, leading to them killing him), he still confronted her, introducing himself as her son, but she refused to acknowledge him as hers and cursed him as a mistake. Despite this, Salkie couldn't bring himself to hate her, and while he left her alone, he would pay off her rent and other utilities with anonymous payments, and he would take care of her at a distance. Despite this, she would later die of a red sand overdose in early 2183 CE, leaving Salkie with no family left. As a result, he dove entirely into his work, with the Blue Suns as his new family.

In late 2183 CE, Salkie and the rest of the Omega chapter of the Blue Suns would be a target of the individual known as Archangel and his squad, who waged war on crime across Omega in an effort to bring an end to the tyranny and reign of terror of the PMCs, cartels and general anarchy across the station. Salkie's proficiency in managing the logistics of the PMC and keeping the Blue Suns well equipped led to them managing to hold out against Archangel a lot better than their rivals, like the Eclipse and Blood Pack, but this only led to Archangel taking the Blue Suns more seriously and placing disruption and sabotage of their operations as a priority, leading to a logistical nightmare as their weapon purchases were disrupted, deals hit, commanding officers assassinated or forced to go into hiding, and more. When Tarak himself was targeted and almost successfully killed by Archangel in 2185 CE, this led to an alliance being formed between the Blue Suns and their rivals, forming the Kima Alliance with the specific goal of eliminating Archangel once and for all: Salkie was placed in control of managing the Alliance's logistics and supply chains, doubling his work load. Following the successful destruction of Archangel's squad, but a failure to finish off Archangel himself once trapped, Salkie was placed in charge of organizing the recruitment of freelancers to make up for the severely depleted Alliance's manpower and in preparation for Tarak's final plan to root out and kill Archangel. Salkie himself would not take part in this final offensive, leading to him ultimately surviving the disastrous attack that led to Tarak's death, along with those of the Eclipse and Blood Pack leadership, and much of the rest of the Omega chapter being greatly weakened. As per Tarak's orders though, he had any surviving freelancers killed before the Blue Suns withdrew from the area under their new commander, Tarak's former second-in-command Jentha Renmark.

Salkie would remain with the Blue Suns during this tenuous period of its history, and would participate in the organization's attempted coup against Aria T'Loak in November of the same year. Unfortunately for Salkie, he would be part of a squad fighting Eclipse forces in the Dyuko District when a horde of hostile creatures boarded the station through the Dyuko Docks and began slaughtering everything in sight, with Salkie among those killed and converted into one of these creatures. In his adjutant form, he would later be contained to the lower levels of Omega following Oleg Petrovsky's successful containment of the creatures at the beginning of his occupation of the station. It is unknown exactly what occurred to the adjutant that was originally Salkie Par'beb, but whatever the case was, his body was certainly destroyed when all of the adjutants on the station were purged by Aria T'Loak following her liberation of the station in 2186 CE.
