Ruam-class heavy battle armor was a set of heavy combat armor manufactured by the Tuchankan Empire's Kalros Boom Shack for use by krogan Battlelords and Archlords. Built for Battlelords (and Archlords when they engaged in battle), the Ruam-class was designed solely as a symbol of power, although it had powerful kinetic barriers and was thickly armoured. Because of the rarity of Battlelords, few sets of this armor were ever built, and only one survived past the Krogan Rebellions; that of Battlelord Urdnot Seg. This piece of armor was later acquired by Tonn Actus in 2183 CE, but was taken back by Urdnot Wrex; Seg's grandson. Wrex briefly wore the armor for the remainder of the Eden Prime War, where he returned to Tuchanka with it. He then publicly destroyed the armor, using it to symbolically represent the change in krogan culture. The destruction of the armor then sparked Wrex's War, and Wrex's plan to unite all of Tuchanka under one banner.
