Migrant Fleet

Quarian Liveship, known during the Rannochian Coalition as a Jehp-class dreadnought and by the Omega Defense Fleet as a Type D dreadnought, was a classification of unarmed civilian vessel exclusively developed, built and used by the quarian Migrant Fleet. There were only ever three liveships ever built. Each liveship was a hydroponics facility, growing thousands of tons of genetically modified staple crops under artificial light and in highly enriched soil; this made the liveships the most important resource of the Fleet. A single liveship is the size of a Sovereign-class Reaper, making them the largest vessels out of any galactic armada.

During the Second Morning War, all three liveships were armed to the teeth, and under the Treaty of Farixen, were effectively classified as dreadnoughts. After the war, this led to the quarians calling them Jehp-class dreadnoughts, and the liveships would serve briefly during the remainder of the Reaper War. All but one were destroyed during the Second Battle of Earth, and the last, the Rayya, was decommissioned a few years later, only to be bought by Aria T'Loak for her fleet and recommissioned as an Omega Type D dreadnought. Only a single Type D dreadnought served in Aria's forces, and was finally decommissioned permanently and scrapped after the Third War for Omega.
