The Quarian Exodus, also known as the Exodus War, to the quarians as the Exile and generally as the Quarian-geth conflict, was a period of intermittent conflict between the Migrant Fleet and the geth that effectively began on 18 April 1896 CE with the birth of the Exodus Fleet, and ended 1 July 2186 CE with the beginning of the Second Morning War, effectively serving as the second phase of the Morning Wars. Beginning on 18 April 1896 CE, the Exodus extended over a period of three hundred years, seeing the birth of the Migrant Fleet, as well as the slow degradation of the quarian species. The period is regarded by the quarians as both humiliating and degrading, as it is considered a period of time where quarians were regarded as evil for their creation of the geth, as well as where the common stereotype that quarians are beggars and thieves originates. During this period, hostilities between the quarians and geth continued, although largely on the quarian side and on a much smaller scale than the First Morning War. The Exodus eventually concluded on 1 July 2186 CE with the Liberation of Rannoch at the end of the Second Morning War. With the formation of the Rannochian Coalition, the Exodus effectively ended, and the conflict with it.
