"A geth whose job is to manage vegetables and food is a contradiction I can't help but find amusing, but strangely endearing."
— A quarian civilian's musings on Pythagoras.

Minister of Agriculture Pythagoras (model number: GT006), legally recognized as Pythagoras pav Rannoch, was a Trooper-class geth politician that served as the Minister of Agriculture for the Republic of Rannoch from 2201 CE to 2253 CE. Built and activated in 2164 CE at the Far'leh Manufacturing Plant on Rannoch and assigned the model number of GT006, Pythagoras would serve in the Geth Army as combat infantry and as one of millions of platforms assigned to the "Sextons of Rannoch", an organization within the geth consensus dedicated to post-war cleanup of geth-controlled quarian worlds, especially the homeworld of Rannoch, demolishing and cleaning up war torn areas, collecting bodies for burial and space debris, and more, all with the hope the quarians could resettle their lost worlds one day. Pythagoras was assigned specifically to Rannoch, the epicenter of the SOR's operations, tasked with clearing out the war torn battlefields of the Far'leh continent. Pythagoras would, with the rest of the geth, accept the Reaper offer to be upgraded with Reaper code at the cost of being controlled by the Reapers during the Second Morning War, although Pythagoras itself, being stationed in the Far'leh continent, never participated in the fighting. Following the end of the war and peace with the quarians, having now fully actualized as an individual being, Pythagoras would choose to name himself after the classical Greek founder of Pythagoreanism of human historical antiquity, following a naming convention that would become commonplace amongst all geth following the war. Pythagoras would remain behind on Rannoch to help the quarian civilian population settle across the planet, using its vast knowledge of Rannoch's ecosystem to help the quarians pinpoint fertile lands for farming and areas rich in resources: it would be thanks to the efforts of geth such as Pythagoras that quarian cartographers and geographical analysts were able to update their maps and understanding of Rannoch's ecosystem, and set the stage for the rapid development of quarian civilization across the planet. Pythagoras would ultimately play a vital role in the Rannochian Society of Cartography, an initiative set up by a passionate and eager group of aspiring quarian cartographers supported by the Provisional Conclave to provide fully detailed and updated maps of Rannoch to chart how much the planet had changed/recovered from the First Morning War. Pythagoras and many other geth would join this initiative.

Following the Reaper War and the formation of the Republic of Rannoch, Pythagoras would be appointed as one of many geth representatives on the then-nascent Senate of the Republic, a position which he used to convince the government to provide official funding and support for the RSC, funding which would continue until 2204 CE, when the group disbanded. In 2201 CE, Pythagoras was selected by the government to become the new Minister of Agriculture, based on his previous expertise as part of the Sextons of Rannoch, and a position they would hold for decades. Placed firmly in charge of the Ministry of Agriculture, Pythagoras largely never left Rannoch, overseeing the planet's vast farming settlements and enforcing seasonal quotas and managing potential downturns in the industry, such as that experienced by the Republic's secession from the New Council in 2200 CE. In 2252 CE, Pythagoras would leave for Alpha to join Dominion ambassador Rini'Ralin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Aristotle in meeting with the prime minister of the Sanctum, Sata T'Loak, in an attempt to secure a trade deal between the Republic of Rannoch and the Raloi Federation, as the latter at the time was dealing with a multi-colony outbreak of avian flu and a major famine on Turvess due to a seasonal downturn in production, with the hope the Republic could alleviate the Federation's production hassles in exchange for a deal that benefitted the Republic as well, strengthening relations between the two peoples. This deal would ultimately fall through when a series of bombings rocked the Spire of the New Federation, with Pythagoras being damaged and having to be evacuated by Baltazar, chief of embassy security, back to the local Dominion embassy, after which he would be repaired and return to Rannoch along with Aristotle for his own safety. This would not stop Pythagoras from attempting to secure a trade deal, proving successful only two months later after a visit to Turvess itself.

When the Dominion Civil War broke out a year later in 2253 CE, Pythagoras was firmly on the side of the Dominion loyalists, believing it best suited the interests of the Republic and his people. While officially still the Minister of Agriculture, Pythagoras was secretly appointed to an ad-hoc government department, the Ministry of Propaganda and Patriotic Reeducation, working alongside the Minister of Propaganda Rembrandt, to spread anti-dissident propaganda as part of a disinformation campaign endorsed by Prometheus to root out DDF sympathizers and operatives, while also attempting to turn public opinion against the insurrectionists and portray the assassination of Tali'Shepard as a false narrative, with Pythagoras responsible for helping create and distribute a deepfake video of Tali'Shepard condemning the DDF, decrying her husband as an impostor and a fake, and calling for true supporters of the Dominion to cast down the DDF. While initially effective, as the war dragged on, the deepfake video was exposed and a botched Promethean blitztrooper raid on a renegade Coalition politician leaked online, only further rendering their propaganda ineffective. After El'Tivv fell to the rebels early in the war, Pythagoras and the propaganda ministry had transferred to a nearby broadcast space station, but this too was discovered by the DDF and raided, and during the subsequent struggle, Pythagoras fought back against his fellow geth, loyal to the Dominion to the very end, only to be eventually killed.
