- "Those who tell you this station is any different from the Citadel are lying to you. I've been to the Citadel, and I've seen Omega. They're the same: same corruption, same rampant crime, same black market deals. The difference is that the Citadel smells better."
- — Postivius describing his hatred for the Citadel.
Lieutenant Postivius Ramsis (known by Archangel's squad by the nickname Weaver) was an officer in the Marine Corps of Palaven, a security guard working for Elanus Risk Control Services and a member of Archangel's Omega Squad. Born on Invictus, Postivius enlisted in the turian marines when he was 15, as required by all turian citizens, and completed his required years of service as a combat medic. Postivius served for an additional 3 years on top of his initially required 5, assigned to the 785th Armoured Cavalry Legion although he saw little to no combat during his time in this unit, with the most action he saw being in combat exercises and war game scenarios. Towards the end of his career in the marines, Postivius was offered a job as a security guard with Elanus Risk Control Services, who offered a higher salary and bonuses and he readily accepted. Initially assigned to the ERCS chapter on Carthaan, Postivius later received a posting to the Decemi Maximum Security Penitentiary on Maitrum, which ERCS had won the contract to provide prison security for after its previous security, HarmSec was fired from their failure to prevent a riot in 2160 CE. Home to 500,000 prisoners and detainees, ranging from draft dodgers to deserters, rapists to murderers, and being a maximum security prison, ERCS guards were heavily armed and had access to anti-riot and crowd control equipment, something which Postivius witnessed first hand. Postivius would work as a prison guard for six years before requesting a transfer, and he was subsequently reassigned to the ERCS chapter on Korlus providing a police-for-hire service to the capital of Choquo as a result of local law enforcement being dissolved eighteen years prior. During his time in this chapter, Postivius became aware of a local drug cartel operating within Choquo, and despite attempts to enquire as to why ERCS wasn't dealing with them, he met obstacles at every turn: he quickly discovered that most of the ERCS chapter in Choquo were on the Choquo Cartel's payroll, even going as far as to provide security for their drug trafficking operations. When Postivius began investigating them in order to report them to ERCS' board of directors, he was discovered by the cartel and they made an attempt on his life, which Postivius survived. Not knowing who to trust, Postivius stole money from both the cartel and ERCS, using the money to book transport offworld and go on the run. Without evidence to support his innocence, ERCS believed he had stolen from them and hired the Creedsworn PMC to bring him in. As such, Postivius fled to Omega, the Creedsworn hot on his heels.
Arriving on Omega and desperate to escape his pursuers, the ERCS and the cartel, all of which wanted him dead, Postivius sought out Lerkaw Mierin, a former salarian C-Sec customs agent who had just started up a business for forging IDs. Believing the salarian to be his only hope for escape, he went to Lerkaw to hire his services, only for Creedsworn mercs to turn up shortly afterwards. Lerkaw helped Postivius while the mercs ransacked his store, and after Postivius explained his predicament to Lerkaw, and the salarian agreed to help him for free, forging a new identity for him and convincing ERCS he had escaped Omega, causing them to redirect their search elsewhere. By late 2183 CE, Postivius had become close friends with Lerkaw, and when both of them heard about Archangel's escapades on the station, Postivius entertained the thought of joining them, an idea which Lerkaw initially found ridiculous and antithetical to his plans to lay low. When Lantar Sidonis, Archangel's second-in-command, approached them however, Postivius was able to convince Lerkaw to join him, and the two were recruited into the squad. Using his background as a medic, Postivius became the squad's primary doctor and combat medic, although he had to brush up on many of his skills as a result of being out of practice. With Postivius on the team, the squad no longer needed to use local hospitals, adding another layer of discretion to their operations, and with Butler handling the supply of medical equipment and supplies, Postivius was able to patch up team members both during and after a mission. When the team became divided on whether to continue their war or cash their chips and call it quits, Postivius voted for the former, convicing his friend Lerkaw to use their credits to fund further operations. His skills as a medic earned him the name "Weaver" from Kay Vortash, who said he could "weave my skin back together like a krogan regenning on roids."
In July 2185 CE, Postivius Ramsis was in the team's headquarters of the Suri-Kara Hotel with the rest of the team (except for Garrus and Sidonis, the former of which was investigating a lead and the latter doing a supply run) double-checking their medical supplies and going over Weyrloc Garm's medical records to look for a weakness to exploit when the Blue Suns and Blood Pack launched a surprise raid on their base, having captured and tortured Sidonis into giving up his team and leading Garrus away on a false lead as bait. Surviving the initial bombardment as he was inside their makeshift medbay at the time, Postivius heard the commotion outside and quickly grabbed his rifle, rushing outside to help. He was immediately greeted with a flashbang, but he was able to cover his eyes quickly enough to shield them from most of the blast, only partially stunning him. He blocked an attempt to stab him in the throat from a Blue Suns merc, but the merc then proceeded to stab him in the chest. Killing the merc, Postivius retreated back into the medbay, locking it behind him, and tried to operate on himself. Sealing much of his wound, he was interrupted by a Blue Suns squad breaching the room. He grabbed his rifle to shoot back, but was too slow, and the mercs gunned him down, leaving his body to slide down his med table and fall to the ground. Upon returning to the hideout to find his dead squad, Garrus gathered Postivius' body along with the rest into body bags, lining them up in their living quarters to keep them outside the carnage of the Kima Siege. Garrus was unable to recover Postivius' body after he was extracted by the Normandy Squad, but later scratched Postivius' name, along with the names of the rest of his squad, into his eyepiece in an effort to remember them.
