The Morning Wars, also known as the Geth Wars and the Quarian-Geth wars to the quarians, and as the Wars against the Creators and the Creator conflicts by the geth, were a series of conflicts between the quarians and geth that began on 30 November 1894 CE with the First Morning War, and ended on 15 January 2204 CE with the Rannochian insurgency. In the months leading up to the First Morning War, the quarian government initiated a series of countermeasures in an attempt to deactivate all geth, ending a war before it began. When this failed, and the quarians lost the subsequent war and were exiled, the quarian-geth conflict continued for the next three centuries as the quarians continued minor hostilities until the official continuation of war in 2186 CE with the Second Morning War. Following the end of the Reaper War and the formation of the Republic of Rannoch, a number of measures were made to solidify quarian-geth relations, but two anti-geth movements, Retake Rannoch and Geth Always (the later of which Daro'Xen secretly founded), continued to combat these attempts, which was only exacerbated by the more extreme geth movement Progenitor that argued the geth should be more strict with their terms. In the end, a compromise was reached, and both the quarian and geth governments formed a task force to combat anti-geth insurgency. The end of this insurgency in 2204 CE marked the end of the Morning Wars.
