Milky Way Galaxy

From FABT

The Milky Way Galaxy, as viewed from above.

The Milky Way Galaxy is a barred spiral galaxy with a diameter between 150,000 to 200,000 light years, and is the home galaxy of the species of the UGR. It contains 200-500 billion stars and more than 200 billion planets, the latter of which only 8% have been explored or settled by the asari cycle. It is part of the Virgo Supercluster, sharing its orbit with dozens of nearby galaxies, most notable of which being the Andromeda Galaxy, Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy, Triangulum Galaxy, Coma Berenices Galaxy and Reticulum II Galaxy. According to UGR scientists, the Milky Way is also, to the best of their knowledge, the only fully united galaxy currently observed or known to exist in the universe, civilization-wise.
