The Logic Arrest omni-tool, also simply known as the Logic Arrest, was an omni-tool model manufactured by Ariake Technologies. Manufactured and entering service in 2162 CE, the Logic Arrest was a mid-range and affordable omni-tool meant for use by the public and often used by mercenaries, PMCs, security firms and law enforcement organizations. By and large a far superior omni-tool to the Bluewire made by Aldrin Labs, the Logic Arrest boasted good processing power, more moderate-grade materials used in its construction and a stronger power source: these specs made it popular among mercenaries, security and law enforcement, where it was commonly outfitted the most, although it was also available to the general public and far more popular than the Bluewire. The Logic Arrest was also the favoured omni-tool of the Migrant Fleet, where it was the most commonly used omni-tool model and outfitted to pilgrims and Migrant Fleet Marines alike: Tali'Zorah preferred the Logic Arrest, mostly due to its highly modular nature, where she constantly applied upgrades to its firmware, both Ariake supplied and third-party outsourced. As such, the Logic Arrest quickly overtook its market competitor and predecessor, the CogniPrime, and ultimately overshadowed it. Support for the omni-tool would continue until 2189 CE, with manufacture of the omni-tool discontinuing in the same year as Ariake released its successor, the Logic Core.
