The Kilimanjaro-class dreadnought was a classification of dreadnought that served in the Systems Alliance Navy from 2163 CE to 2207 CE. Succeeding the then obsolete Everest-class, the class was given a larger and more powerful frontal MAC cannon, more precise GARDIANs, greater mobility and more powerful armor and shielding. In its prime, the class was considered, in terms of firepower and ability to impose force, on par with the turian Vanguard-class. By 2174 CE, the Kilimanjaro-class had completely replaced the Everest-class. The Kilimanjaro-class served reliably well during the Reaper War, especially after being upgraded to mount newer weapons, including the new thanix cannon, allowing it to doll out firepower equal to what the Reapers possessed, giving it a fighting chance against the larger Reaper warships. By 2207 CE, the class was replaced by its fourth-generation successor, the Arbiter-class.

The class was named after Mount Kilimanjaro, an inactive volcano in Tanzania within the former United States of South Africa.
