"He's mentally unfit, but physically sound. Just need to fix the first, doctor."
— Kaso'Dbi to Elan'Shiya referring to Veetor'Nara's health in August 2185 CE.

Doctor Kaso'Dbi pav Rannoch (formerly known as Kaso'Dbi nar Ghsac and Kaso'Dbi vas Neema) was the chief medical officer of the QMFV Neema during the Quarian Exodus and, following the Reaper War, a doctor at the Rannochian State Hospital in the capital city of El'Tivv on Rannoch. Born on the destroyer QMFV Ghsac into one of the many cadet clans of Clan Feese, Kaso expressed a great interest in medical science early in his life, much to the exclusion of all else, having few friends in school and his cold, arrogant attitude making him quite disliked by his fellow students. He left on his pilgrimage in 2156 CE, using his already extensive knowledge of quarian physiology to land himself a place in a prestigious medical academy on Thessia, being the only quarian student in an asari-dominant class: he would graduate with flying colors, despite the disdain shown by his fellow asari classmates, and returned to the Migrant Fleet with his degree as his gift, believing his intellect would be enough to win him a position on the QMFV Neema. Wanting to give him a go, the ship's chief medical officer at the time, Jonna'Yaezh, convinced captain Han'Gerrel to accept Kaso's gift and assign him to Jonna's medical team. Jonna took Kaso under her wing, and despite disliking Kaso's arrogant attitude, she was impressed with Kaso's work ethic and extensive knowledge, a fact Kaso was very proud of. In 2170 CE, Jonna died when a ventilator in her cabin failed, causing her to quietly pass away in her sleep, which wasn't discovered until the next morning when she didn't show up for her shift. Kaso succeeded Jonna as the ship's chief medical officer. Kaso would attempt multiple relationships over the course of his career, but all of them would fail as his attitude made it impossible to make a connection with anyone, and he ultimately would give up altogether.

In August 2185 CE, Kaso would be responsible for the initial treatment of Veetor'Nara following his retrieval from Freedom's Progress, whereupon it was decided a doctor with a background in psychology would be necessary to preside over Veetor's treatment, and he was transferred to the Rayya to continue his treatment under Doctor Elan'Shiya. Kaso would be present on the Neema when the Second Morning War commenced in July 2186 CE, but was transferred briefly to the Taerrel Lima which had been converted into a hospital ship and was being used to treat the Fleet's wounded following the First Battle of Rannoch: once the war was over, he transferred back to the Neema, where he continued to serve for the remainder of the Reaper War. He briefly attended a field hospital set up in London following the war, before returning to Rannoch aboard the Neema. In late 2187 CE he filed an application to join the staff of the then-nascent Rannochian State Hospital, and his application was accepted, leading to him resigning from the Navy. He would spent the rest of his life as a doctor at the Rannochian State Hospital, dying of old age in his home at the age of 106 in 2242 CE.
