"The single most devastating shotgun in the galaxy. There isn't a piece of armor found anywhere that could stop a slug from this monster from introducing you to purgatory."
— Turian requisitions officer.

The HetM Weapon/Shotgun, also known as the Spectre Shotgun, was a pump-action/semi-automatic heat sink-based block-fed shotgun manufactured by Spectre Requisitions for use by Spectres. Before the emergence of the thermal clip in 2184 CE, the HMWSG shotgun was the most expensive shotgun in the galaxy, costing a total of six million credits to purchase a single unit. Its price matched its capabilities however, with its firepower being the strongest in the entire galaxy, with only the Sokolov coming remotely close, and that came with good recoil dampening, a high amount of accuracy and a top-of-the-line heat dispersion system. The weapon was a must have by many Spectres, who could barely afford it themselves, but those armed with the HMWSG would make mince meat of their enemies, with a single slug from a HMWSG said to hit with enough kinetic energy so as to flip a skycar. The weapon was, in design, spiritually succeeded by the M-27 Scimitar, while the HMWSG shotgun itself had no direct successor.
