"It's a pistol, and a hand cannon. And only Spectres get to use this one-handed artillery piece."
— Turian requisitions officer.

The HetM Weapon/Pistol, also known as the Spectre Pistol, was a semi-automatic heat sink-based block-fed heavy pistol manufactured by Spectre Requisitions for use by Spectres. Before the emergence of the thermal clip in 2184 CE, the HMWP pistol was the most expensive pistol in the galaxy, costing a total of a million credits to purchase a single unit. The weapon was considered extremely powerful however, and was a must have by many Spectres, who were the only ones allowed to access the weapon. The weapon was, in design, spiritually succeeded by the M-6 Carnifex, which was also given the quasi-erroneous title of being a "hand cannon", due to the sheer recoil and brute force of which it fired, and the fact that it could penetrate most armors, including Spectre Gear's own line of HMASTA armor.
