"Not the best amp in the business, and that happens when an asari doesn't build it, but you could do much worse."
— Turian requisitions officer.

The HetM/Biotic Amp, also known as the Spectre Amp and simply known as HMBA, was a biotic amp model manufactured by Spectre Requisitions for use by Spectres. The HMBA was one of the most expensive biotic amps in the galaxy, costing a total of 100,000 to purchase and surgically insert the implant. Despite the price not matching its capabilities, as the HMBA amp was considered subpar when compared to the asari-made Savant amp, it did possess decent stats in duration, power and cooldown and was highly modular, allowing most biotic-capable Spectres who used it to modify the amp and squeeze more power out of it. The amp was made compatible for asari and turians initially, although human versions were later designed following their admission into the organization. The HMBA was phased out by 2186 CE, with most spectres preferring to use cheaper alternatives or gaining access to the Savant, which had much better stats overall. The HMBA amp has no successor.
