The Gemini amp, also simply known as the Gemini, was a biotic amp model manufactured by Armax Arsenal. Manufactured and entering service in 1581 CE, the Gemini amp was a mid-range military grade biotic amp meant for use by the Cabal Corps of the turian military's special forces and later for use by turian mercenaries. As with most biotic amps designed for military use, the Gemini prioritized power output over durability, wanting to push the user's biotic powers to their absolute limit and their damage potential. While this sacrificed duration, it resulted in a high amount of cooldown space and a slight push in power output. The main amp used by the turian cabals, the Gemini amp was designed specifically for turians, being totally incompatible with the physiology of other species and no variant was ever designed. The Gemini amp was fully discontinued in late 2183 CE, replaced with Armax's more advanced Auger amp, which fixed the Gemini's issue with duration and further increased the power potential of its user.
