The Geth Cruiser, Heavy-555 Class (abbreviated GCH-555 Class Heavy Cruiser) was a classification of cruiser that served in the Geth Navy and Geth Heretic Navy from 2137 CE to mid-2185 CE. Succeeding the GCH-554 Class, this class of cruiser was cited has having tougher shields and armor, as well as being bigger than its predecessor, allowing for a larger compliment of ship-to-ship weaponry. Unlike light cruisers, which were better suited for patrols, this class of heavy cruiser was perfect for prolonged combat engagements, allowing it to destroy enemy frigates and destroyers with lethal ease. These combat capabilities was observed during the Eden Prime War. While observed at the Battle of Virmire, it was not until the Battle of the Citadel that they would be fought in combat, where they were shown to be far superior to the turian and salarian cruisers, even managing to deal severe damage to dreadnoughts such as the Destiny Ascension

The geth heretics continued to use the GCH-554 for many years after the Eden Prime War, right up until they were absorbed back into the geth.
