Faster than light

From FABT

Faster Than Light travel, abbreviated as FTL, is the method of transportation used by every species in the galaxy to traverse the galaxy and reach its numerous systems and clusters quickly and efficiently. Without FTL, rocket-propelled ships would take years, even decades, just to reach a nearby system or cluster. With FTL, this travel is shortened down to just a few days, or even hours, depending on the proximity of the destination.

Achieving FTL travel is also a vital part of the Technological Advancement Scale.
