Colossus-class combat platform
From FABT
- "Mistakes are made on the battlefield, and this is one of them: mixing up armatures and colossi. Yes, in terms of shape and design, they look almost identical. But the colossi are notably larger than their armature cousin, with a much more prominent and powerful plasma weapon and siege pulse. Their kinetic barriers are far more resistant, and their armor makes explosive weapons almost useless. Do not make the mistake of confusing the two: colossi are and will be the biggest threat you face on the field when its feet on the ground."

The Colossus-class combat platform, known as the Geth Colossus colloquially, is a subclass of the geth consensus. Similar in design to the geth armature (and often confused for it), but much taller and with a white color, the Colossus was first developed and deployed forty years after the First Morning War following the boom in geth manufacturing and the rise of Geth Armoury. Armed with a built-in heavy plasma cannon and a more powerful siege pulse, the Colossus is employed as a heavy armoured unit for assault and offensive operations. Unlike its smaller cousin, the Colossus is almost solely used during assaults and invasions, with its heavy weaponry and powerful shields making it invaluable as armoured support on the battlefield. The Colossus, while lacking speed and maneuverability, is able to go toe-to-toe with other armoured units such as the M35 Mako, making it a good anti-armor offensive heavy tank. They will often be accompanied by enemy forces to supplement its vulnerability to flanking maneuvers, as its turning speed leaves it defenseless against fast-moving vehicles and infantry.
