"I tend to make a habit of surviving. If you think you've killed me, check the corpse. Chances are...well, you know me."
— Aleena

Aleena T'kajah, also known by her more recent alias of Nassana Dantius, was a independent contractor and former bodyguard to Khurdok Chaggu and briefly for Aria T'Loak. Born on Omega, Aleena was bred to become a mercenary from the moment she turned 40. By the time she was half way through her maiden stage, Aleena was a hardened and lethal mercenary, able to compete the skills of even the most hardened asari commando. Seeing her skill, Khurdok Chaggu, the former ruler of Omega, hired her as one of his personal bodyguards. She served him loyally, right up to the point when Aria overthrew Khurdok. She served Aria for several years before leaving and becoming an independent contractor. She met Wrex at some point, and the two of them fought together during a few missions. Eventually however, one of her former volus clients wanted her killed to keep his secrets under lock-and-key, and hired Wrex to kill her for a substantial bounty. The two agreed to fight it out, and after weeks of battle, Aleena escaped. In 2183 CE, she concocted a plan to lure Wrex out, using Tonn Actus to do it. Despite her best attempts though, Wrex finally defeated her, with the krogan blasting her in the chest. Believing her dead, Wrex left, but Aleena had actually survived. Too wounded to fight anymore, she gave up and retired on Illium, adopting the alias of Nassana Dantius and quickly building an economic empire. Her reign ended when she was assassinated by Thane Krios.
