- "I'm not weird. Normality just refuses to accept me."
- — Abby Williams
Private Second Class Abigail Williams, often referred to by the nickname Abby, was a senior kobudō instructor, a member of the Furious Terra resistance group on Earth during the Reaper War, and one of the three sisters of Ashley M. Williams. The eldest of her sisters, second only to Ashley, Abby was born on Sirona and grew up under the tender, careful influence of her older sister. Eager to follow her sister into the family military tradition, Abby aspired to join the Sironan Colonial Guard, but eventually chose become a kobudō student, given her obsession with swords. She became so skilled at the martial art that she was a senior instructor within eight years, allowing her to start up her own class. She was always considered the weirder one, and it took longer than her other sisters (with the exception of Ash, who never did) to get married, and when she finally did, it was to one of her graduating kobudō students, and they subsequently moved to Earth. Abby was in Korea when the Reapers invaded in 2186 CE, and both her and her husband joined the global resistance movement, Abby doing so in honor of her sister.
Her husband died sometime before Abby's group linked up with Anderson's main group in western Europe, and she was present in France when the Battle of London took place. Abby chose to stay in France once the war was over, helping the rebuilding efforts before making a home for herself there and marrying again. She reestablished her kobudō dojo, until leaving it in the hands of her pupil when she grew too old to continue. She died peacefully in her home sometime after.
